„Reya Fish” Ltd.,with Engineer Valeri Baronov in charge of the company ,was established in 1994 and has since been in charge of the privatized government company „Salvelinus” Ltd., owned by the fish industry – Dospat. The company’s head office is located in Sofia, with the production infrastructure being saturated in the town of Dospat.It is located 1200 meters above sea level in the western part of the Rodopi Mountatins.

After the privatization, the company has advanced from a company centered around growing trout to processing and production of frozen, smoked and pickled fish, as well as various fish salads. An additional segment for the production of unconventional equipment related to the food industry has also been developed.

„Reya Fish” Ltd. has an outlined production structure, whose objective is the production of non-standard equipment for the food industry from tables and equipment from stainless steel to high-tech lines for vacuum packing and modified atmosphere packaging(also knows as MAP), fish gutting machines, cleaning and separating machines for blue mussels, full equipment for sterilized canned food, automated lines for sorting and smoking chambers.
